Power and business will search and remove industry barriers in the format of strategic sessions

Regional departments - the Ministry of Economic Development and the Investment Development Agency - launched a series of strategic sessions for the heads of enterprises in the region with the participation of relevant representatives of government bodies and support institutions. It is planned that in the course of such a dialogue problems and barriers in various sectors of the economy will be identified, and measures will be quickly developed to reduce them.

The first strategic session was held for representatives of the medical and pharmaceutical industries of Perm Region. About 40 people took part in it - representatives of medical and pharmaceutical companies in the region, the executive branch, and public entrepreneurial organizations.

Opening the strategy session, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Territory Maxim Kolesnikov emphasized that, organizing such events, the authorities pursue their pragmatic goal: “We want to help“ unravel ”some bottlenecks in economic sectors in order to attract new investments to the region and create new ones workplaces". The head of the regional Ministry of Economy emphasized that a consistent study of industry problems will take place with the direct participation of the governor of Perm Region: the results of a joint search for new solutions and promising projects will be publicly presented at the Council on Entrepreneurship and Improving the Investment Climate under the head of the region.

In the first part of the session, its participants identified a number of threats, sectoral and legal barriers to the development of the industry. Both traditional issues, for example, control over the activities of private medical organizations, and the subtleties of licensing medical activities, in particular dentistry, were brought up for discussion. Personnel issues were discussed separately: the migration of young specialists outside the region, staff development.

The second part of the session was devoted to finding options for neutralizing threats and realizing opportunities. Changes in legislation in the field of targeted recruitment to specialized universities, the possibility of professional training by private educational organizations were predicted, ideas were expressed about simplifying the “double licensing” procedure. A separate proposal was made to create a medical cluster on the basis of industrial parks within the framework of the existing federal legislation, in particular in the field of oncology and neurosurgery.

According to the Director General of the Investment Development Agency Pavel Noskov, the announced proposals will be structured and formed in the form of legislative initiatives in regional or federal legislation, as well as in a package of promising investment projects for the subsequent attraction of investors.

Alexey Turyshev, Rector of the Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy:

- This is a very important event, because in 1.5 hours we got a real brainstorming session - we expressed many suggestions and ideas, including positive ones. As part of my professional interest, if we talk about the Pharmacological Academy, then, in my opinion, some problematic issues can still be solved. In particular, we hope to increase the control numbers for admission to our university for the Perm Territory, because the Pharmacademy is a certain brand of the region, all of Russia knows it.

Tatyana Goryacheva, owner and director of the network of medical centers "Diamid":

- In my work, I constantly come across the format of communication that we were offered today. This format is really good for feedback. They listened to us today, and if at least some of this is being realized, and as a result, business management will be simplified, then it means that we were gathered for good reason today. And in this the most enormous role is played by representatives of the regional authorities. By and large, all processes should be simplified and transparent. And in an honest, transparent field, everyone is ready to play, if everyone understands the rules of this game.
